A reputable, owner-operated garage is looking for an experienced, competent mechanic. There is potential for advancement within the company for a motivated, customer service-oriented individual who shares our vision of success. Pay commensurate with experience.
Requirements:
ASE Certification -- All candidates must be ASE certified. We will not accept any applicants who do not meet that basic criterion. ASE Master Technicians are encouraged to apply.
Working knowledge of correctly diagnosing and repairing autos, light trucks, and commercial vehicles.
Candidates must have at least three years of diagnostic experience. Consideration will be given to applicants with upper-level diagnostic skills.
Good customer service skills and basic computer skills are strongly preferred. Experience using diagnostic websites like Alldata, ProDemand, IATN, etc. is a plus.
Working politely with customers and treating them with respect; occasionally answering phones, occasionally processing payments.
Working in a team environment, sharing ideas and knowledge as well as working independently.
Standing and/or reaching, some heavy lifting, stretching, twisting.
Familiarity with diagnostic software and testing equipment.
Honesty and integrity
Valid WI driver's license and a good driving record required.
Spanish or Hmong language skills are a plus.

There is ample parking located in the rear of the building. We have computer stations in the shop as well as the office areas, and offer Wi-Fi for customer use.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
