FPGA Design/Verification Engineer
Build up digital systems using RTL VHDL code targeting Xilinx FPGAs.
Implement DSP, control and interface design elements and perform unit level simulations.
Develop timing and physical implementation constraints.
Present detailed design reviews, participate in code peer reviews.
Debug issues and narrow them down to specific lines of RTL code.
Debug of FPGA issues on the hardware platform using lab equipment such as Logic Analyzers.
Write verification code to debug the FPGA design.
Write/support scripts for simulation and building the FPGA
Required Education:
Required
Experience: None
Required Skills: Some exposure to VHDL. Digital Logic Design
Preferred Skills:
VHDL or Verilog
Familiarity with Modelsim.
Familiarity with backend tools (ie. Xilinix).
Experience with Source Control Management tools (like GIT), and bug tracking (like GForge). C, C++, Perl are pluses
Team player and resourceful in achieving goals
Secret clearance or ability to get a Secret Clearance required.
