Apply now to work with a team of early childhood professionals as a childcare manager at Child's Play by the Bay. We are looking for an outgoing, friendly preschool teacher to provide direct care to our youngest children as well as help manage our small center. Learn the many aspects of center management through hands-on leadership opportunities including opening and closing responsibilities, scheduling, and supporting the daily operations of the center. As a childcare manager at Child's Play, you will:
Collaborate with the center director to maintain the day to day operations of the center
Partner with parents from enrollment to meeting the educational needs of their children
Manage your time as you support a classroom and other staff
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree preferred
or an Associate's Degree in Child Care, Education or a closely related field is required
Requires two to four years of professional teaching experience with infants, toddlers and preschoolers
One year of prior supervisory experience, including classroom leadership responsibility or professional administration experience in a child care center
Strong oral and written communication skills
Excellent customer service skills
An understanding of NAEYC developmentally appropriate practice
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
