This exciting position is responsible for defining and executing the architectural vision for all information technology systems, including applications and infrastructure. The successfuly candidate will possess a thorough understanding of available technology and tools, and their application, and is responsible for leading teams to define and create a state of the art environment that furthers enterprise goals and objectives. The incumbent leads architecture and design efforts across multiple application and infrastructure groups, and establishes best practices and provides technical and architectural direction to project teams. In addition, this person will be well versed in the technology necessary to achieve leading edge applications design and associated infrastructure components. He/she continually watches the industry and develops partner relationships, staying abreast of changing technologies, providing technical expertise, establishing strategic technology direction, andmentoring other IT personnel. He or she ensures that technologies used align with the enterprise-wide technical architecture, ensures consistency across projects, and establishes cross-organizational relationships in order to directly influence the enterprise-wide technology architecture.
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information technology, or a related discipline. Advanced degree in Computer Science highly desirable.
