Federal Practice - Deloitte Consulting LLP

Technology Strategy & Architecture : Deliver Technology Advisory and Implementation solutions that extract and maximize business value from IT investments. Encompasses architecture, engineering, and operations services for the IT strategy, innovation, operations, and infrastructure required to deliver efficient and effective platforms fundamental to business success.
IT Infrastructure Consultant
Location: Washington, DC area
The candidate for this role will be responsible for assisting Deloitte's Federal Technology Strategy and Architecture practice in Data Center and Information Technology (IT) strategy and infrastructure optimization initiatives for Federal agencies.
Key tasks include current state assessments, data and configuration collection, requirements definition, business case development, high-level architecture formulation, and target state roadmap creation to assist our clients resolve the challenges they face in their IT environments.
Other required tasks include assisting with the implementation and deployment of various IT infrastructure technologies with varying degrees of hands-on execution tasks.

Bachelor's degree required

General knowledge of cloud computing
Overall knowledge of data center infrastructure including facilities, power, cooling, rack layout, and cabling
Experience with Microsoft office products such as Visio, Microsoft Project, Word, and PowerPoint
Ability to work both independently and within a team
Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills
Comfortable working with clients on a daily basis
