Fabrication Manager Responsibilities $50-60,0000
1) Supervision and training of fabrication personnel to include the manufacture of equipment and assistance with equipment
2) Quality control of equipment
3) equipment process instruction implementation
4) Organization and cleanliness, 5S (general and individual areas)
5) Kaizen implementation 5) Time management (fabrication)
6) Safety implementation
7) Job and parts order scheduling
8) Interface with other manufacturing departments, engineering, processing, purchasing, shipping, sales and customer service
9) Generation of engineering change requests (both job specific and standard drawings)
10) Assist in the development and implementation of fixtures and fixture kits for existing and new products
Qualifications
1) 3 years minimum supervisory experience
2) Good interpersonal and communication skills
3) Good general math and trigonometry skills
4) Excellent blueprint reading skills
5) Good hands on mechanical ability
8) Working knowledge of computers
9) Welding/fabricating experienceEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
