## Description
A Prin IT Bus Sys Analyst has full responsibilities for planning, analyzing, designing, architecting, testing, and implementation of interfaces, software, databases in support of IT and the Business.
Responsibilities:
Manage and lead the architect, implementation, administration, testing and support of internal and COTs applications for manufacturing operations, shop floor, and finance.
Architect, design and support all SQL, Oracle, Access databases including the Extract, Transform and Load activities in support of solutions.
Work with users and functional departments to obtain an understanding of system needs and business requirements.
Create, run, support and troubleshoot complicated batch schedules associated with software and databases.
Design and implement interfaces to extract, transform and map data into multiple platforms and environments with different data sets/formats and ensure data replication and transformation has 100% data integrity. Ability to use middleware or brokering tool.
Assist in the development and implementation of new or revised management information systems, specifically working on legacy system for data migration to a selected ERP/MRP solution. Works as extended member of ERP implementation team.
Perform Ad-Hoc Reporting functions inclusive of analyzing reporting needs and developing algorithms to extract needed information from existing data and developing either on-going viewing capabilities for requested report or provide one time product for single need reports.
Ensure proper system backups are performed and appropriate protection is provided for company information.
Maintain Disaster Recovery knowledge and awareness; work with team members to plan and test DR plans.
Maintain documentation at all times and adhere to change control policies, procedures as well as any system or software development lifecycle methodologies.
Provide technical leadership, support, direction and expertise to peers, leadership and associates on the overall architecture as it relates to the IT and business strategies.
Research, evaluate, monitor and recommend emerging technology and leads investigation and adaptation of beneficial data technologies.
Document all projects, applications and architecture for disaster recovery and for the refresh of hardware or software upgrades.
Performs other job related duties as assigned by management.
## Qualifications
Education: BS degree in Computer Science, MIS or a related field.
Position Requirements:
Ten (10) plus years of related experience or Masters' degree with 6 plus years of related experience.
Working knowledge and proficiency in SQL/PLSQL for programming, reporting and replication of data. SQL 2005, 2008 or higher preferred.
Interface experience with extracting and transforming data into multiple environments using any type of middleware software such as Biztalk, Websphere, SAP PI, Businessworks etc
Sharepoint experience is preferred but not required
Proven high proficiency in analytical and problem solving skills.
Sufficient working knowledge of IT operations, responsibilities, workflow processes and procedures to resolve inquiries independently.
Ability to effectively interface with peers, employees, management and customers within the organization and communicates effectively both orally and in writing.
Extensive knowledge and experience with overall knowledge of IT infrastructure, databases, database architecture, application design and architecture, interfaces, data migration.
Textron (and its subsidiaries) participates in E-Verify. We will provide the U.S. Social Security Administration (SSA) and, if necessary, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) with information from each new employer's Form I-9 to confirm work authorization.
