Job Description: General Function:
Technical Recruiters at Pomeroy identify, recruit, select, and deploy Information Technology Talent for and to the best and brightest companies in the nation. On a daily basis, recruiters will communicate and develop relationships with experts in the technology field, in an effort to identify career opportunities for them. Essential Duties &
Responsibilities:

o Directly source candidates, pre-qualifying candidates through phone interviewing, set up interview schedules, check references and work with hiring managers to hire the best candidate;
o Qualify new requisitions and requisition changes with management;
o Understanding the needs, culture, and strategies of our client;
o Effectively utilizing search engines, job boards, networking, social media, referrals, ad response, and user groups to identify top technical candidates;
o Screening, interviewing, and closing candidates for temporary, temporary-to-hire, and regular, full-time benefitted roles;
o Cultivating relationships with consultants and clients in a polished and professional manner;
o Initiate and develop relationships with hiring managers;
o Notify manager of acceptance/declination of offer;
o Offer negotiations - other offer discussions;
o Generate offer letters;
o Provide verbal offers to candidates;
o Resume management, using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
o Post jobs on internet job search sites as well as unemployment job boards etc;
o Additional duties as assigned.
On-Boarding
Responsibilities:
o Initiates the on-boarding process for your candidates
o Collects paperwork
o Initiates the background check and drug screening process
o Follows up with candidate to ensure timely submittal of necessary documentation
o Completes on-boarding process for integration into ERP

General office environment
o Solid knowledge of MS Office 7;
o Solid knowledge of navigating the various internet job search sites.
Other Specific Job Qualifications and/or Duties
o Knowledge of IT solutions and environments is preferred.
Requirements: o IT Full Life-Cycle Recruiting Experience required, Human Resources, Sales, Project Management experience;
o Bachelors Degree preferred; Spanish speaking, preferred;
o 3-5 years of demonstrated IT recruiting experience;
o ADP/Virtual Edge applicant tracking systems preferred;
o Employment Law;
o Positive demeanor, attitude and outlook a must;
o Enthusiasm, creativity and the ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment;
o Experience developing new candidate sourcing avenues including cold calling, community networking and developing contacts within the industry;
o Proven experience working with diverse job openings related to a corporate environment preferred;
o Experience working with and managing third party search agencies and other recruiting support businesses;
o Strong PC skills, including internet recruiting and ATS are strongly preferred;
o Collaborative; Flexibility; Agility are all desired traits;
o Solution-Oriented;
o Desire to learn;
o Must maintain confidentiality of information & exercise discretion when providing information;

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
