Duties: Supporting international data privacy and data privacy requirements globally (in all countries outside the EU/Western Europe and the US). Supporting product development and marketing attorneys in the roll-out of international products by advising on data protection/privacy issues. Supporting projects throughout the company that have data protection/data privacy implications such as outsourcing and efforts to consolidate databases by providing country specific advice on data protection/privacy issues. Setting up and monitoring data protection/privacy processes for corporate entities in all countries globally. Ensuring compliance with data protection and data privacy laws globally. Assisting contract lawyers globally on questions related to data privacy/protection arising in global contracts; and educating colleagues in legal on data protection/privacy issues.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
