Ruby on Rails Engineer - Boston, MA (telecommuting options available)
My client, a recently acquired software product start-up, is looking to hire a full time Ruby on Rails Engineer to their team! Reporting to the CTO, you'll have a variety of responsibilities ranging from pre-sales, defining product/project requirements, user experience design, technical architecture, and solution development.
Skills required:
- 4
years of software engineering experience with an OO language such as Ruby, C#, Java, etc
- 2
years of experience with Ruby on Rails
- Web Services
- Excellent communicator with internal and external resources as well as clients
Bonus points:
- Experience with a modern JavaScript framework such as Backbone
This position is offering generous compensation plus bonus PLUS the ability to work from home a couple of days a week and the flexibility to work out of their Boston, Waltham, or Providence locations.
