We are currently recruiting for a Industrial Engineer at our Rancho Cucamonga, CA location.
This position will assist the site Management Systems Manager, department superintendents, and plant management in implementing Management Systems processes across multiple departments. The major role of this job is to focus on continuous improvement and integration of business processes, identifying benchmarks and best practices, consistent application of the GBS, and act as a change agent to help achieve a higher level of results within the assigned location by utilizing and implementing Management Systems processes.
Requirements for this position:
Must have a four year college degree in Industrial Engineering.
2 years practical experience preferred in manufacturing facility.
Must have strong communication and presentation skills in order to effectively deliver training to cross functional teams.
Experience in a previous position working alongside of management and operators and go through teaching/training and follow up on that training.
Mastery of routine management tools, such as: 5S, Standardized Work, Variation Reduction, root cause investigation, etc. (used on a daily basis, 5S experience, Variation Reduction-concept, root cause investigation tools from problem solving techniques to Six Sigma.
Instructional or professional certification in Quality, Lean, or Six Sigma preferred.
Ability to drive and sustain behavioral change through coaching and influencing.
Computer skills including Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Proficiency in delivering training, and adult learning approach.
