Overview
HTML development, JavaScript, using Angular open source framework for mobile apps in the telematics business. Besides the above skills, this person needs to know testing, specifically around Agile and TDD-test driven development, and XP-extreme Programming. The mobile platform is Android but also do hybrid development across multiple mob platforms. Very advanced concept group that needs this individual to embrace the TDD which is done before the code is written.
Qualifications
Preferably 3
years of near-exclusive Android development on high-volume, client-facing projects. Personal projects may be considered, but they will be checked out for quality.
Experience writing web service clients for mobile devices.
The ability to explain in detail the complete lifecycle from user touch to back office service call and back for one or more projects listed on their resume. We'll ask them to elaborate each step of the flow. We expect the candidate to be able to piece together the end-to-end solution and communicate such concepts with other developers.
Solid experience writing Java/Android unit, integration and functional tests.
Knowledge of Test Driven Development (TDD) experience a BIG PLUS
Pair Programming experience a BIG PLUS (they will be doing it here, so if they haven'tthey better want to)
Previous experience working on projects following SCRUM a BIG PLUS
Ability to be co-located with team at the RenCen.
Strong knowledge of Object Oriented Design and familiarity with Design Patterns
