client is seeking a Visual Designer for a contract-to-hire role in their Jersey City, NJ. This will be a 6-month contract to start with potential to convert to a full time role for the right candidate.
The company has it's own in-house creative agency, so the environment has more of an agency feel than a typical corporate setting.

Requirements:
- 2-5 years of integrated visual design experience (digital and print)
- Strong digital experience, as demonstrated in your portfolio (websites, microsites, emails, mobile, etc.)
- Experience working on complex, transactional, e-commerce web sites a big plus
- Prior experience working either in a financial services or brokerage / trading firm (or working on financial clients in an agency setting) preferred

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
