Our client is in need of an Expert RFIC Design Engineer that can work on site in Moorestown, NJ for the remainder of the year with the strong likelihood of being extended beyond 2014.
This exciting work will include Radio Frequency Integrated Circuit (RFIC) design & Test. The Engineer will work in a fast paced engineering R&D environment with bleeding edge chip design technology at our RFIC Design Center.
The RFIC Design Engineer will perform RFIC circuit designs and will build and run RFIC simulations. You will be involved with testing RFIC functionality and will interface with many other departments and with other engineering personnel to include systems engineers & software engineers; interface with vendors & suppliers to include chip fabrication houses; you will mentor & train less experienced engineers.

Mandatory:
Security Clearance Requirements: Applicants selected will be subject to government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. For this specific role we will need an Interim Secret clearance to start. Moving forward once hired the successful candidate will need to be granted a full secret clearance.
Minimum requirements for this
position
will include a BS Degree in Electrical Engineering,
computer
Engineering, or closely related technical field and 6 to 11 years of professional level experience.
A minimum of 5 years experience developing and laying out RFICs is required. Expert level experience with Cadence Virtuoso Software Suite to design ICs is required. Strong Mixed-Signal Radio Frequency Integrated Circuit (RFIC) Design skills and experience are required
Experience with Sonnet High Frequency Electromagnetic Software is required. Circuit modeling experience is required. Experience designing matched impedance interconnects and frequency compensation is required. Experience with IBM and/or TowerJazz Process Design Kits (PDK's) and processes is required. Strong organization skills are required. Strong verbal & written communications skills are required.
Desired:
Experience with MMIC design would be a plus. Layout experience of LNA's, VGA's, and similar circuits that operate in the tens of GHz is desired. VLSI experience is desired
