Conifer Health Solutions is currently hiring for a Director of HIM Operations.

SUMMARY
Responsible for execution and key performance indicators of the Enterprise HIM Outsourcing solution-complete and functional Outsource platform. This involves leading multiple levels of subordinate leaders who may be working onsite or telecommuting from multiple geographic locations in reengineering applicable processes and organizational design to achieve optimal client and Conifer performance. The
position
is responsible for implementing HIM leading practices and delivering on all Service Level Agreements based on the client engagement. The position is also responsible for compliance with CMS, other regulatory agency guidelines, JCAHO, and Conifer guidelines. This position is responsible for developing and executing against associated budgets, ensures all spending is within budgetary guidelines and operational margins are met or exceeded. Overall, the position is responsible for planning, organizing and directing all functions within Conifer's HIM Outsourcing Platform.
Thorough knowledge of HIM regulatory and Compliance requirements.
Thorough knowledge of managing applicable financials including margin.
Thorough knowledge of JCAHO survey requirements and experience in orchestrating successful JCAHO surveys.
Experience with multiple HIM technology solutions and ability to implement such solutions.
Knowledge of DRG classification and reimbursement structures.
Intimate knowledge of Federal, JCAHO Guidelines, and State regulations regarding Acute Care and Critical Access Hospitals and ability to execute and lead a HIM department abiding by aforementioned guidance.
Ability to execute a Shared Services HIM model.
Ability to communicate and form working relationships with staff, clients, and RCM partners at all levels.
Experience with supplier governance and management.
Must be able to maintain confidentiality regarding patient/
employee
/facility/corporate information 100% of time.
Ability to manage virtual and local facility leaders and staff.
Demonstrates accountability for all areas managed.
Excellent organizational skills for the execution of leading HIM practices.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
Include minimum education, technical training, and/or experience required to perform the job.
A minimum of 5 years experience in successful execution and leadership of a multi-facility HIM solution
Bachelors/Associate degree in Health Information Management ; a related advanced degree preferred
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) or (RHIT)
