Responsible for managing the Field Service Technician team in the Americas and supporting dealers/customer needs.
Responsibilities:
Provide the highest level of customer service in the industry
Manage the service technicians at the Cedar Rapids, IA and Durand, MI sites
Develop instructional training materials and coordinate service training seminars
Ensure Health & Safety policies are adhered to by all team members
Develop and manage the service department budget
Develop and manage service rates and provide quotes as needed
Provide quick prompt technical assistance internally, to distributors and/or customers
Resolve dealer and customer equipment issues
Write and submit technical and service bulletins on equipment
Investigate field issues and review and approve service tech field reports
Assist Warranty Administrator with claim evaluation; as requested
Provide engineering with field performance data and recommend improvements
Be a part of the global MPS service resource and provide service support and training from the Americas team internationally as needed
Perform other duties as needed
Travel throughout the Americas as necessary (approximately 20% max)
Required:
3
years of experience with hydraulic, electrical and mechanical troubleshooting in a similar environment
2
years of experience in a customer service environment
Preferred:
Extensive
computer
experience to include Power Point, Excel, and Word platforms
Technical writing skills
Experience in training, formal or informal
