Supervise all employees engaged in bartending and serving for a specific outlet.
Review manifest and staffing levels to determine appropriate work assignments for the staff.
Check with Cooks to determine menu changes, substitutions or deletions for the day, and notify staff.
Investigate and resolve guest complaints or concerns in accordance with standard procedures.
Monitor silverware and plate status and order items as needed with budget constrictions taken into account.
Develop schedules to reflect staffing levels needed to give optimal guest service.
Check out restaurant cashiers, cocktail servers or other employees with cash drawers to ensure cash balances.
Train new employees and update all employees on new procedures or policies.
Conduct a physical inventory of bar ware and requisition replacement items as needed.

and counsel all employees when needed to reinforce department and company policy and procedures.
Maintain a well-informed shift by conducting daily shift meetings.
Department walkthroughs are done on a daily basis to assure cleanliness and all equipment is operational.
Must be able to work various shifts and hours to include holidays and weekends.
