Application Systems Analyst, Document Imaging Support

POSITION SUMMARY
The Application Systems Analyst of HPF Integrations for front-end solutions for CHS's healthcare systems supporting, time critical access to medical records. This includes application integrations in support for a baseline of 17 facilities using McKesson HPF/HBF/ILE, an emerging baseline of facilities using Cerner CPDI. This leadership position will lead 5-15 analysts has CHS continues to grow the HIM department. This position reports to Manager of HIM Financial Systems.
JOB DUTIES
Will peform go live integration projects using tools such as FTP, Shared Folders in a Windows, Wintel, and AS/400 environment.
Performs interfacing updates using HL-7 codes.
Supervises service delivery of Document Imaging team members by leading them regarding business decisions and improved operational performance.
Works with internal Corporate Business Partners in order to define business and technical requirements for deployment of new or enhanced systems.
Provides effective, efficient, and timely communications to management, business partners and other stakeholders regarding critical service issues.
Works with deployment team and service transition team to ensure new applications and new facilities are supported effectively. This includes planning and training appropriate resources; working with other teams to ensure support infrastructure is established.
Provides regular updates on Document Imaging service and support operations.
Provides inputs on headcount and budgets for review and approval by management.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree; 2 years of additional HPF experience can be substituted for education.
Minimum of 3 years of experience converting/integrating McKesson's HPF (Horizon Patient Folder) in a multi-system hospital environment heaCerner'CPDI platforms a plus.
Minimum of 3 years of experience using the following in a technical realm (not end-user experience) SQL/Windows Server, FTP/Shared Folders, AS/400 and/or Oracle, Database Structures, Wintel, and HL-7 interfaces.
Strong analytical and problem resolution skills, organizational skills, and ability to analyze business problems and opportunities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills.
Expert level experience using MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast paced environment.
