PROGRAM ASSISTANT, CHILDREN S INTEGRATED SERVICES
This is a 22.5hr/wk position
The Visiting Nurse Association of Chittenden and Grand Isle Counties seeks a well-organized Program Assistant to support its regional Children s Integrated Service (CIS) Coordination office. Children s Integrated Services is a statewide prevention and early intervention program that promotes a child s growth and development and supports families during pregnancy/postpartum and their child s early years, birth to six.
JOB DUTIES:
Assists with the development and management of a CIS regional system for shared intakes, referrals, and on-going plan reviews
Along with the CIS Systems Committee, conducts outreach to
community
members. Develops outreach materials as needed
Assists with coordination of regional professional development opportunities for CIS providers
Maintains regional CIS database
Assists in development of the monthly CIS billing list and CIS utilization data report
Enters monthly billing data for regional CIS Billing Agent
Serves as a central point of contact for referral sources, clients, and providers
Conducts CIS intake
Maintains and distributes the Resource List for Chittenden County Families with Young Children
Qualifications:
B.A., with studies in psychology, social work, human development, education, or a related field desirable
Proficiency in
computer
programs (i.e., Microsoft Word and Outlook, Excel, Access, Power Point and Publisher); experience with electronic health records and/or medical billing desirable
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Intake and human service experience desirable
General knowledge of Chittenden County s network of early childhood supports and services desirable
All Agency Employees are required to carry Automobile Insurance. The minimum requirements for Bodily Injury are $100,000 per person and $300,000 per incident. Proof of Insurance is required upon hire.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
