Work Schedule:Rotating shift 6am-2pm &/or 2pm-10pm, with rotating days off, to include weekends and holidays and occasional on-call.
Examples of Work:
Provide supervision to individual youth or small groups in work and recreational activities. Observe and record in the daily logs the behaviors and progress of youth. Perform scheduled duties including housekeeping. Transport youth to off-campus activities. Distribute medications as prescribed and administer first aide and CPR as required. Respond to crisis situations and de-escalate angry, combative youth. Physically intervene as needed. Work will include physical stamina/strength, standing, walking, and occasional lifting.
Qualifications / Requirements:
REQUIREMENTS:Coursework/training in: social work, criminal justice, counseling and guidance, human development and the family, psychology, mental health care, education, social/behavioral sciences, human services or related area; OR Experience in: child or youth care, teaching, foster care, delinquency prevention, juvenile court systems,
community
work related to children and youth, behavioral health systems, patient care, nursing or other areas involving contact or interaction with youth or families.
PREFERRED: Degree in any of the above areas; experience working with adolescent youth; experience with crisis management or deescalating aggressive behavior; experience working with a team; and Bilingual skills in Spanish and English a plus.
OTHER: Must possess a valid driver's license or the ability to provide independent authorized transportation. Must be able to attend two weeks of mandatory training M-F, 8am-4:30pm.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
The successful candidate will need to possess confidence and assertiveness to deal with angry, combative and sometimes aggressive youth.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
