Minimum
Qualifications:
B.S. in Accounting or Finance
8
years related experience in Government Contracting
Excellent understanding of GAAP
Must be well versed in Deltek Costpoint and WAWF submissions
Working knowledge of fixed price contract cost estimates and revenue recognition
Working knowledge of DCAA, FAR, CAS
Working knowledge of Deltek T&E and ADP payroll system
Prefer COGNOS and Deltek Analytics
The Accounting Manager is responsible for ensuring all accounting activities including, but not limited to maintenance of the general ledger, payroll submissions and related reporting, Accounts Receivable and WAWF submissions, Accounts Payable as well as preparation of various accounting reports are completed accurately and timely.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
o Run month-close process
o Enforce accounting policies and procedures.
o Enforcing internal controls as they pertain to the accounting function
o Thorough understanding of support for financial statements amounts and balances
o Managing external financial audit
o Maintains financial staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
o Preparing and reviewing data for tax return filings
o Oversight of certain corporate functions (credit ,leases, licenses, local taxes)
o Other duties as assignedEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
