Altamira is seeking a Senior Software Developer/Engineer, who will provide system administration support on our Prime Cloud contract. This FULLY-FUNDED
position
requires a critical thinker & self-starter! Qualified candidates will:
Provide discipline-specific or system-specific engineering support on systems, system elements, interfacing systems, components, devices and/or processes.
Lead entire system life cycle development, including requirements definition, design/prototyping, system integration, testing and validation.
Possess in-depth technical and theoretical knowledge in specific discipline.
Work independently or on a team to solve engineering problems.

REQUIRED:
A minimum of five (5) years experience working on engineering projects for government or industry clients.
A minimum of five (5) years developing software/systems using Java.
A minimum of one (1) year experience designing & developing applications for execution in distributed computing environments.
A minimum of one (1) year experience with Apache Hadoop framework and MapReduce.
An active TS-SCI clearance with Polygraph is required.

DESIRED:
Experience with managing, monitoring & tuning Hadoop clusters of 1,200 nodes highly desired.
Experience with developing and building Linux RPM's and working with Yum Repositories.
Experience with using Puppet or Software Management Console (SMC) for provisioning highly desired.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
