Job Description The successful candidate will support the sustainment, maintenance, operation and upgrade of aircraft simulators in Honolulu,
hawaii
. Will install, operate, maintain,
repair
, document maintenance and modify aircraft simulator equipment for the devices and associated subsystems. Perform a variety of maintenance and technical support on products for simulator integrated systems and subsystems, and software at customer location. Analyze and evaluate products and related performance. Update maintenance data records and assist with the installation and check-out of modifications to equipment. Maintain simulation devices to meet availability specifications. Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctions to eliminate problems in minimum time. Maintain effective customer communications and relations. Shift work may be required at times.
Basic Qualifications Five years of demonstrated aircraft simulator maintenance experience with ability to apply technical knowledge to solve complex problems by interpreting design drawings, manuals or simulator documents. Knowledge of FAA maintenance requirements.
Desired skills Five years experience providing hardware and software support in a modeling and simulation environment.
