Inside Sales / Customer Service
representative
Job Description: Serves as a liaison between customers, field sales representatives and the manufacturing facility. Performs a wide variety of insides sales and customer service activities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Handles all direct sales and supports the direct and indirect field sales force and interacts with Business Development, Marketing, Sales and Product Line Team Leaders to provide responses and proposals to customer requests.
Handles all customer complaints, inquiries, and correspondence including (but not limited to): requests for quotes, purchase order entry, purchase order changes, expedite requests, and communicates with customers and representatives in an expeditious manner on all issues.
Retrieves and calculates pricing from established price lists, databases, or other sources to respond to customer and distributor requests for pricing.
Uses established databases and resources to provide delivery order status, catalogs, basic cross-reference, and product information.
Organizes and maintains precise customer records in an attempt to obtain the highest possible order capture rate and highest possible record accuracy.
Performance Expectations and Goals: Ensure that client proposals and quotations are accurate and are submitted in a timely manner. Review each new sales order/contract and enter the pertinent information into the ERP/MRP system.
Timely quote responses and Sales Order Entry Accuracy
Quality Defect rate
Efficiency - Quoting to meet or exceed gross margin goal
Sales and Bookings Budget
REQUIRED EDUCATION/
Experience:
Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
Proficient in MS Office Apps.
Previous experience with an MRP systems a plus.
Bachelors, Associates or work experience equivalent.
PAY RATE: $12.07 to $18.33/hr. - DOE
