information:

As a Summer Maintenance Tech you will have the opportunity to join a world class team that has a passion to WOW our residents by providing top notch customer service. You will be able to work alongside our maintenance experts to gain more experience and knowledge in painting, grounds, plumbing, electrical, drywall and so much more! We are looking for someone to join our team from May-September and work 40 hours per week. This position pays $10 per hour and is eligible for a $1250 tuition assistance bonus at the end of the summer!

Position requirements:

Keeping apartment and community buildings and grounds in a clean and orderly condition
Installing, maintaining and repairing machinery, equipment, physical structures, plumbing and electrical systems at a residential apartment community

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
