is looking to immediately hire a Field Service Engineer for our client located in the greater Wichita,
kansas
area. The Field Service Engineer will be a member of the Customer Support Department. Working for an international leader in machining solutions, the main role of the Field Service Engineer will be to provide installation and training services at customer sites.
PRIMARY JOB RESPOSIBILITIES:
Member of a Product or Process team with the responsibility of satisfying the needs of customers utilizing the team's products or processes
Install/train and provide technical knowledge and troubleshooting on team product line at the customer's facility
Create and develop procedural documentation
Use and understand the Customer Support
computer
system
Support the Product Specialist on a rotational basis
Support the Knowledge Products Team as a Subject Matter Expert
Occasional participation outside of the team product line
Other duties as assigned
REQUIRED
Qualifications:
2 Year Technical degree (Electrical/Automation), plus 1 year of experience in a related field preferred
Excellent communication and customer relations skills
Willing to travel weekly with the ability to travel internationally
Knowledge of a specialized field such as machine tool manufacture, installation, operation, maintenance and
repair
preferred
This position would be an ideal role for someone with Electrical Engineering skills and an interest in learning the field service aspects of the machine tool industry.
