Purpose
Summary:
Partners with VP, Human Resources and leaders/employees throughout the business to ensure
employee
benefit, leave, performance and recognition policies and programs are aligned and administered appropriately based on BlueLinx' overall HR and Total Rewards strategies. Administer core human resources policies, processes and practices related to compensation, benefits, performance management, employee recognition, LOA, workforce/talent planning and organizational/individual development.
Responsibilities:
Understands the company's vision, mission, and strategy; understands business unit objectives and sets/accomplishes individual performance goals accordingly.
Develop, implement, and manage processes associated with Bluelinx Total Rewards package for corporate and field operations in US and Canada - including Medical, Dental, Rx, Life, Vision, LOA, LTD, STD, paid time off, performance management, employee recognition programs, and retirement planning.
Manage vendor and administrative processes surrounding the defined contribution and defined benefit retirement plans, its related policies, guidelines and compliance. Recommend new and/or improved plan designs, processes and cost cost-saving strategies which are consistent with corporate objectives and legislated requirements and programs.
Oversees processing of all documents necessary for implementation of various benefits programs and maintenance of such records as required for compliance with ERISA, COBRA, SOX, and other applicable regulations. Manages active and retiree employee SPDs, SARs, SMMs and IRS 5500's compliance.
Develops operational relationships with vendors selected to administer company plans; manage performance through continuous process improvement.
Manage the development of employee benefit communications
Prepares for and facilitates annual calibrations and periodic talent review meetings.
Acts as a liaison to other human resources functions when necessary.
Uses knowledge of various HR and Benefit functions to assist in the investigation and resolution of employee relations issues.
Work with managers to ensure compliance in accordance with federal, state, and local employment requirements, (e.g. FMLA, ADA, EEOC, ADEA, FSLA, etc.).
Serve as an authoritative source to company employees and outside inquiries relative to the company's Total Reward programs.
Leads team; selects/hires; develops objectives; coaches and evaluates performance. Ensures direct reports obtain applicable training and development opportunities to enhance performance, development, and contributions to the company. Holds direct reports accountable for individual and team performance. Addresses performance issues appropriately and timely.
Qualifications:
Aligned service experience in Defined Benefits/Pension. High level of customer service support and client communications. Knowledge of carrier/client relations, ERISA, DOL, IRS regulations, HIPAA, COBRA, Worker's Compensation and Section 125. Knowledge of Total Benefit Administration (TBA) and supporting structures. Strong independent capabilities; project planning and execution; client knowledge and responsiveness; attention to detail; process improvement; problem solving. Knowledge of various HRIS and proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite Software and relevant tools / technology.
Years of
Experience: 5-7
years of experience in related area of responsibility. 3-5
years with a master's degree.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
