Opportunity
Parsons is seeking a Senior Bridge Engineer in our rapidly expanding Bridge & Tunnel Division. If you want to be part of a dynamic and innovative team working on large, marquee bridge projects that change the urban fabric of communities, this opportunity is for you. We are looking for candidates with the ability to work in a highly flexible, team-oriented environment that have exceptional communication, analytical and organizational skills. This position is for a fully qualified professional that is proficient in performing and supervising complex highway and/or railroad bridge design and detailing tasks.

Responsibilities
Determines creative and innovative methods and solutions for complex bridge engineering problems and selects the most efficient and economical manner in meeting the objectives.
Applies advanced bridge engineering techniques and analyses.
Utilize thorough knowledge of current technology to select and apply appropriate engineering software for use on projects
Perform complex bridge engineering tasks and particularly important engineering work efficiently and accurately.
May function as discipline
project engineer
or Discipline Lead on medium to large projects, assuming responsibility for the work of the group.
Commitment to quality and continuous improvement through innovation, creative thinking and improved results.
Establish and maintain cooperative and productive relationships with all employees, clients and other stakeholders.
Qualifications

Qualifications
10
years of related work experience
BS in Civil Engineering with structural emphasis
MS in Structural Engineering strongly preferred
PE licensure
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Proficient knowledge of MS Office and AutoCAD or Microstation
Comprehensive knowledge of industry standard and specialty bridge design and analysis software
