Position: Director of Laboratory
Schedule: Monday-Friday 1st shift
Location: Camarillo, CA Area

Summary:
Directs and coordinates activities of employees engaged in performing clinical and pathological tests to obtain data for use in diagnosis and treatment of diseases.
Assigns, directs, schedules staff and oversees performance of procedures in fields of Microbiology, Chemistry, Immunochemistry, Special Chemistry, Hematology, Coagulation, Urinalysis, Blood Bank/Transfusion, Tissue Bank, Serology, Cytology, Histology and all Point of Care/Provider Performed.
Evaluates and modifies department's policies and procedures to comply with all accreditation bodies including DNV/CAP/AABB/CADPH/FDA/EPA.
Prepares and administers laboratory budget. Maintains optimal staffing and productivity to established standards. Directs the proper storage of hazardous materials and the laboratory safety program including education and training of all laboratory employees. Coordinates and/or conducts education and training programs for Clinical Laboratory Scientists, Medical Laboratory Technicians, and Phlebotomy students and personnel.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of five years of supervisory experience in a clinical laboratory
Master's of Arts in Business (preferred)
Current
california
Clinical Laboratory Scientist License (or eligible)
Proficient in MS Office
