IP Legal Assistant/Paralegal - $50 - $60K DOE
Support 2-3 IP attorneys.
Keep files updated, orderly and filing current.
Correspond with clients and foreign associates (letter, facsimile and/or email)
Prepare and file documents (per specification) for submission to the United States Patent and Trademark Office, clients, foreign associates, and others.
Enter attorneys' time into PerfectLaw.
Maintain/ updated docket.
Work with attorneys to keep them apprised of due dates and keep current with their docket.
Proof and edit documents as required.
Requirements:
Minimum of 3-5 years IP support experience
Attention to details / accuracy a must.
Excellent grammar (spelling and punctuation)
Produce quality work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
Proficient with computers, email software and MS Word
Able to work independently but also be a team player when needed.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
