Works with minimal supervision to competently perform required inspection and quality functions.

Essential Functions:

Ability to read and use precision measuring instruments and intricate inspection equipment to perform various types of inspections and tests.

Adhere to the Company's Quality Management System procedures.

i
Ability to read, analyze and interpret blueprints, general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, government regulations, or schematics related to the inspection of assemblies, sub-assemblies, raw material, work-in-process, or finished product as required.

i
Must be able to see, speak, hear and read English.

i
Comply with, and ensure department compliance with, all government environmental and safety regulations and with company safety policies and corporate guidelines on business ethics.


Duties &
Responsibilities:





i
Perform various inspection and testing techniques utilizing complex and intricate equipment.

i
Inspect and test complicated and involved apparatus having highly precise and reliability performance standards requiring a broad knowledge of electrical, mechanical and inspection principles with a high degree of accuracy.

i
Requires knowledge and experience to perform routine inspections such as receiving, 1st article, work-in-process and final while maintaining quality records, forms and other such documentation.

i
Make decisions of consequence as to acceptable quality. Determines reasons for rejects and malfunctions.

i
Work from complex and involved drawings / specifications.

i
Participate in planning, developing, implementation and administration of quality inspection and test functions.

i
Perform other related duties as assigned, needed and required.





Education & /or Experience Requirements:





i
Associates degree in quality or vocational school graduate with formal apprenticeship or equivalent combination of apprenticeship, training and education.

i
Must be familiar with and understand inspection principles and procedures, manufacturing methods and inspection techniques.

i
Must be able to use and accurately read various inspection instruments.

i
Must be able to read and accurately interpret blueprints, schematics and other related technical documents.

i
Minimum 5 years of experience.

i
Proficient written and verbal communication skills.

i
Proficient with MS Word and Excel.

Environmental Conditions:





i
Regular work environment is a climate controlled inspection lab within the production floor.

i
Will be required to work on shop floor on a regular basis.

i
Safety (steel-toed shoes / boots) are required when in the regular work area and production areas if required to exit aisles.

i
Safety glasses will be required when in production areas.



Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
