is seeking a hands on Manufacturing Engineer to support existing machining processes and to help implement new process/product launches. This individual will be responsible for troubleshooting, tooling/layouts, and support of various machining centers and will be required to recommend and implement process tooling or equipment improvements for the purpose of cost reduction, increased equipment capacity, and quality improvement.
This position requires a degree or related experience with a minimum of 5 yrs experience in automotive industry. Prior exp. in automotive machining operations is required. Candidates should possess experience in the specification, tooling, layout, programming, and troubleshooting of various types of machining centers, including multi-spindle screw machines, rotary transfer machines and CNC machines.
Position open due to up coming retirement.
Must have high volume production machining background to include knowledge of Screw MachinesEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
