for the automobile industry. This global reach, combined with a strong financial position, enables our client to continually invest in their technology, clients and, their employees. They are looking for a Network Administrator to provide Cisco and LAN/WAN support in an enterprise environment for their infrastructure and established external and internal customers.
DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
o Deploy, configure and manage Cisco enterprise network systems including switches, firewalls, routers and load balancers.
o Configure and deploy network security policies, NAT and site-to-site VPNs on Cisco ASA firewalls.
o Configure routing protocols such as EIGRP, OSPF and BGP.
o Monitor servers and network equipment using SNMP based software tools such as Nagios, Intermapper, WhatsApp and Solarwinds
o Work with telecommunications vendors to design network solutions to support MPLS WAN, VoIP, and QoS.
o Create designs and documentation using software tools such as Visio.
o Demonstrate excellent leadership, oral and written communication skills and willingness to work both autonomously and with teams.
o Must be flexible with work schedule, on call and some travel.
EDUCATION, SKILLS and
Experience:
o 7
years of Cisco networking experience in an enterprise environment.
o Bachelor's degree in
computer
science, management information systems or related field preferred, or equivalent work experience.
o Experience deploying and managing Cisco Catalyst and Nexus switches including Nexus 5K, 7K and 2K.
o Strong firewall skills including VPN setup, NAT, and routing on Cisco ASA firewalls.
o Comfortable managing large networks with devices in remote locations.
o Experience working with intrusion prevention and web filtering technology such as Palo Alto.
o Experience working with A10 and or F5 load balancers preferable.
o Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
