The PM will manage the coordination of activities related to the migration of approx. 2500 applications from stand-alone systems to virtual compute environments. The role will involve interacting with Business Application Development and Infrastructure Technology Teams to formulate and maintain an application migration schedule which will allow us to exit our data center facility by end of 2016. Candidate will require experience in Project Managing Application migration initiatives as well as have a strong background in general Project Management principles (PMI). The candidate is expected with to work with little supervision and should have excellent financial, planning, team management, and oral and written communication skills. Interaction with senior management across the Facilities, Business, and Technology areas will be a regular occurrence.
Technical skills: MS Project, Excel, Access, and SharePoint expertise
Qualified candidate will have already acted in a similar role where they were actively involved in the coordination of activities related to the migration of applications from a stand-alone server environment to a virtualized environment.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
