Data Analyst Our client is very large media company with an integrated broadcasting, publishing, direct marketing and digital media company located in Atlanta. The Business/Data Analyst will fill a key role in delivering enterprise information solutions for our client. Focus will be in the areas of enterprise information management, data warehousing, analytics and reporting. The role will collect business information needs, assess them for system and data requirements, and deliver solutions using our client's data assets and technologies. The analyst will interface with business stakeholders, report developers, ETL developers, and DBAs. Function Analysis:- Serve as a subject matter expert for the data assets developed and maintained by the team. - Analyze corporate data for issues, relationships, and patterns that will assist solution design. - Collect and analyze business requirements. - Collaborate with stakeholders to review analysis results. - Continually look for opportunities to improve data quality, automate processes, and advance information delivery. Delivery: - Design and develop data solutions using available technologies - data modelling, ETL, reporting and analytics. - Develop mapping, design and specification documents that fulfil requirements. - Perform quality assurance tasks - test plan design and execution. - Collaborate with business stakeholders to review solution designs. - Support production issue resolution. Requirements:- Excellent oral and written communication skills - Excellent experience presenting reports to VP level and down - Excellent experience writing SQL queries and stored procedures (T-SQL preferred) - 3 years working with Data, SQL, and information delivery - 3 years' experience working with an ETL tool (SSIS preferred) - Self-Drive and self-confidence in your career - Experience with data quality profiling and data quality practices - Working knowledge of ETL, data modelling, and relational databases - Knack for looking at data through an inquisitive lens.
