Position Description: The ideal candidate will be able to provide Raytheon Ktech with the capability to serve our customers through superb engineering. S/He will design customer antenna systems which facilitate future growth of business and provide support for a variety of costumers. The candidate should have a broad understanding of RF theory and design and must be capable of operating RF test equipment to validate and troubleshoot designs. S/he will serve as a technical expert in all things RF and will be responsible for continually striving to maintain the most up to date knowledge of technological advances within the field and industry. Required Education/Skills/
Experience: BS in Engineering, Science or Mathematics Minimum 6 years experience in a related field Experience using electromagnetic simulators such as CST Microwave Studio, HFSS, and Microwave Office Experience with Altium Designer Experience with MATLAB, VHDL, and C# Experience using RF test equipment such as: Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, Signal Generators, Etc. Experience with design, modeling, simulation and test of complex RF and mixed signal printed circuit boards and modules Desired Education/Skills: MS in Engineering, Science or Mathematics 7 years experience in a related field Project management experience Experience with RF-on-fiber devices and optical link margin analysis Experience designing Low Noise Block Downconverters with RF inputs from 1GHz to 12 GHz Additional Requirements: Must be capable of obtaining a Class III FAA flight physical. This position may require periods of travel, both in CONUS and OCONUS. Must have an ability to obtain and maintain a DoD clearance.
