Software Engineers (QA Analysts)
Oracle America, Inc. has openings for Software Engineer (QA Analyst) positions in Burlington, MA. Design, develop, troubleshoot and/or test/QA software. .Design and develop test databases and test scripts utilizing Selenium and Perl. Create and execute various system, integration and basic integrity tests in product design reviews. Recommend future directions of software product releases and help establish product policy. Write, develop, analyze and execute software test plans and perform both automated and manual testing, including functionality and regression testing. Perform accessibility, I18N, externationalization and performance testing. Develop automation suites for Windows and Unix/Linux operating systems. Simulate end user scenarios utilizing NMap, Cygwin, SSH, FTP, and UNC. Perform complete end to end testing of configuration management tool. Manage testing configurations for Weblogic, WebSphere, Tomcat, and Apache application servers in clustered and non- clustered environments on various platforms. May be assigned to various projects that rely on PCI compliance, ISO guidelines, and internationalization and that utilize JAWS, SQL, Oracle, and DB2.

Science, Engineering, Math, Physics or related technical field, followed by five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in the job offered or five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in a computer-related occupation. Employer will accept the academic equivalent of a U.S. bachelors degree awarded by regionally accredited institutions in the U.S., as determined by a qualified credential evaluation service. Experience must include:
1) Weblogic administration, Apache/Tomcat; 2) simulating end-user scenarios using NMap, SSH, FTP, Cygwin; 3) Developing automation suites for Windows and UNIX/Linux operating systems; 4) Designing and developing test databases and test scripts utilizing Selenium and Perl; 5) accessibility testing; and 6) Performance testing.
