Duties and
Responsibilities:
Department of Energy contractor is seeking a highly dynamic software engineer to join our fast-paced team of diverse
information technology
professionals. Applicant must possess an understanding and love of the Agile software engineering methodology with a passion for Scrum. Applicant will be faced with a unique secure development environment and should be capable of developing new skill sets as required. Applicant should be familiar with object oriented and service oriented design architectures. Excellent communication and leadership skills are required for the successful applicant. Applicant must be willing to take an active role in the entire product development process from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance. Generalists will be favored over specialists, though front-end skills are particularly valued.
Qualifications:
Must be a US Citizen
Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOE Q security clearance
Minimum 5 years of ASP.NET, C# experience
Minimum 5 years object oriented design and development experience
Minimum 5 years of experience designing, developing and maintaining relational databases.
Mastery of Javascript (jQuery), CSS, HTML
Desired:
Bachelors Degree in IT-related field or equivalent education and experience combination
Familiarity with PaaS, SaaS, IaaS offerings such as Salesforce.com, Azure, AWS
Experience with CSS frameworks such as Twitter Bootstrap
Knowledge of both Web Forms and MVC paradigms of .NET development
Experience designing highly useable, aesthetically pleasing user interfaces
