Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Provide quote follow-up and analysis of quotes. Support $1.5M of daily quotes in a $650M business. Serve 4,000 customers.
Ensure that customer questions and problems are addressed in a satisfactory and timely manner and that customer specifications maintained accurately. Ensures continuous improvement and customer care quality metrics are met.
Ensures quotes provided to customers are accurate and consistent. Ensures appropriate follow up with customers.
Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Builds relationships with other internal functions to facilitate timely issue resolution.
Resolves complex customer concerns or issues that have been elevated.
Responds to elevated customer inquiries requiring in-depth knowledge of business products and brands.
Management Tasks will include but not be limited to:
Provide leadership & supervision for a 10 person pricing team for commercial and industrial motors in Wausau.
Leads market research, designs pricing policies, and oversees the maintenance of historical pricing data. Researches industry trends and understands competitive pricing by product line.
Manages pricing of the commercial and industrial motors portfolio in order to stay competitive in the market.
Indirect responsibilities for process and procedure standards and training for 15 sales representative agencies that provide quoting.
Provides hiring, promotion and disciplinary action recommendations, as well as performance evaluation and feedback for direct reports.
Assesses staffing requirements and schedules staff to ensure timely completion of quotes and customer inquiries
Leads implementation of the Configurator project.
Additional
Qualifications:
Experience in quoting standard, build-ups, and modifiable motors
Strong Microsoft Excel skills
Obtain Green Belt in Lean Six Sigma within 3 years
Required Education &
Experience:
Bachelor's degree in a Technical or Financial discipline from a four year accredited institution.
Demonstrated positive and effective leadership, interpersonal and influencing skills.
Previous direct customer, application/sales/marketing experience.
