MISSION:
The entrepreneurial business owner of a TDW product line with the long-term goal of gaining a sustainable competitive advantage through the effective lifecycle management of the portfolio.
Responsibilities:
Tasks:
Manages assigned portfolio of new and existing Line Intervention and Temporary Isolation technologies and services constantly looking for ways to establish market supremacy and sustainable competitive advantage for both onshore and offshore markets.
Manages Product Life Cycle of technologies and services portfolio constantly looking for ways to maximize opportunities and minimize inefficiencies in competing products, obsolete part numbers and excessive inventories.
Champions the customers involvement in the new product or services process so that the new product introduction time phases are mitigated to ensure prompt delivery.
Participates in trade shows as required, coordinating with the Marketing Communications Group to develop commercialization documents, sales tools, promotion and advertising media, trade shows, and miscellaneous communication tools required by the sales team to effectively sell products and services globally.
Develops and presents White Papers to conferences and associations in support and promotion of technologies and services.
Works with the market segments to develop and review business cases to be presented to upper management which will assist in the evaluation and prioritization of new product or service opportunities and efficient Capital allocation.
Establishes and ensures consistent global execution of TDWs market strategy. Communicates and leverages regional successes to maximize returns with the global market.
Provides new product sales development training and support for the global TDW sales personnel and ensures technical proficiency appropriate to meet customer and market requirements.
Shares accountability with Regions for achieving the sales and margin targets according to business plan for products and services as identified by Business Development Management.
Works with Regional personnel to assist in the preparation of quotations for new products or services in initial stages of commercialization.
Continuously interfaces with the Market Segment organizations to build and refine new technologies delivering unique customer value and sustainable business for TDW.
Supports the Market Segments to validate customer information to ensure that TDW R&D and operations organizations are developing new products and services in parallel with the customers needs.
Works with the Market Segments in the definition and sizing of regional and global markets.
Acts in conjunction with the Market Segments as liaison between Research and Engineering, TDW operations and our customers.
Develops and implements sales plans, strategies and initiatives that are consistent with short- and long-term objectives of TDW.
Responsible for the introduction of the new product or service to the sales group by ensuring that all required literature, support documentation, pricing guidelines and training are in place prior to product or service release.
Strengthens markets and customers understanding of TDW products and services offerings.
Works with the market segments to develop and maintain competitor profiles and intelligence that provides key business information resulting in competitive advantages and market share
position
improvement.
Relationships with others:
Reports to the
manager
of Commercialization HT&P Technology.
Communicates with, coordinates and influences the business leaders in the Hemispheres for the implementation of strategic and operational initiatives.
Works in close collaboration with Market Segment counterparts to leverage technologies and best practices.
Works closely with Marketing and Communications group to establish marketing programs to effectively position and promote TDW within the market space.
Works in close collaboration with R&D group to ensure development projects meet functional requirements and expectations.
Customer Orientation:
Develops and maintains strong partnerships with TDW customers on a global basis, anticipating and responding to their needs and requirements.
Partners with Regional sales and management teams to ensure TDW brings the highest valued solution set of product and service capabilities to the market segments.
Ensures that solutions are supplied which meet customers business needs.
Qualifications:
Business and/or Engineering Bachelors degree required.
MBA and/or knowledge of functional disciplines, i.e., marketing, contracts, liabilities/risks, and finance are preferred.
Knowledge of pipeline field operations and other field disciplines and mechanical aptitude is preferred, but will consider Product Management experience outside oil & gas.
Sales experience in the oil & gas industry is preferred.
Strong ability to develop high level relationships and rapport with customers and business partners, and represent TDW at the
executive
level on industry committees.
Strong business problem solving and creative sales development skills.
Strong ability to exercise sound judgment in making business decisions.
Knowledge of continuous improvement processes is preferred.
Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communications skills. Should be proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint at the intermediate level

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
