Link Technologies is currently recruiting for Helpdesk Support Specialists, Levels I, II, and III. This is a contract opportunity for an established client in the Las Vegas, NV area.

Duties:
Work at the help desk answering and logging trouble calls for CONTRACTOR'S users.
Respond to client requests, which may include installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and
repair
of client workstations.
Use hardware and software testing tools to troubleshoot and make repairs as needed.
Experience and Education:
Associate's degree in MIS.
Or equivalent education and related IT
Experience:
- Level I: 2 years
- Level II: 4 years
- Level III: 6 years
Experience working at a Service Desk answering, logging, and resolving Tier 1& 2 trouble calls for users.
Basic knowledge of how an Active Directory network works.
Working knowledge of the following Microsoft products: Windows XP/7 and Office XP/2010.
Experience with MS Office, MS Project, TCP/IP and PC hardware and software testing tools, to troubleshoot and make repairs, preferred.
Must possess excellent customer service skills.
Candidate must be U.S. Citizen and be able to provide proof of citizenship.
Note: One year experience shall substitute for one year of education. Any experience utilized to fulfill education requirements cannot count towards the
position
's required number of years of experience.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
