Summary:
The Clinical Risk Leadership Specialist Registered Nurse will review and investigate patient and provider occurrences
He or she will assist in monitoring and follow up on action plans and related activity as well as track/trend and produce reports involving incident
events
, grievances and legal actions
Interact with Medical Affairs and Human Resources involving concerns relating to provider issues
Ability to be a resource for risk management staff, regional staff, and clinical providers on various levels of clinical risk management and interact with liability carrier as needed
Qualifications:
CA Registered Nurse
Hospital clinical risk management experience
Ideal candidate will have excellent
computer
skills as well as ability to use spreadsheet and data base applications
Excellent verbal and writing skills, and knowledge of statistical methodology to include manipulation of data and graphic display
Experience with Quality issues and/or Peer Review
CPHRM preferred
Compensation:
$85,000-$90,000+/year
Bonus eligible
