Title: Adhesive Line Operator - Level 1 Summary Assists with the coating and/or laminating of material that meets coating run order requirements. Performs daily assignments and tasks in Coating Department by performing the following duties. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Assists Level 2 and 3 Adhesive Line Operators set up and prepare material for processing. Places roll of material onto feed spindle of machine. Threads end through feed and guides material into dipping vat or onto transfer roll and through drying oven and attaches it to rewind spindle. Fills vat with adhesive solution. Learns to monitor and adjust coating line during operation. Reports any non-conformities as material is processed. Learns to perform basic machine maintenance and PM's. Learns to complete process related paperwork and inputs production data into
computer
ERP system. Learns to operate one (1) end of coating line. Cleans work areas. Also refer to Specific Hazardous Waste Responsibilities description maintained by Quality Engineer and/or lab personnel. Attends annual hazardous waste training. Nonessential Duties List all other non-essential functions that this job generally includes. Supports other departmental activities.
