Working closely with the supplier quality and manufacturing teams, this position will be responsible for day to day supplier quality and supplier development functions.
Responsibilities: Perform supplier audits Work with suppliers on corrective action reports and product certification/inspection Project management (APQP/PPAP) activities related to new product launches The ideal candidate would also have experience with SMT. This includes all or some of the following: knowledge of electrical components, component kitting, handling (ESD), and SMT manufacturing processes like AOI. Qualifications Requirements Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical
engineering
(or very closely related field) Two - five years relevant quality engineering (or closely related) experience Effective prioritization and communication of workload, and must have excellent organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal Related work experience in the PCBA, SMT production field preferred. Strong working knowledge of IPC solder standards a plus Knowledge of Quality systems: APQP/PPAP, FMEA's, Control Plans, TS 16949, correction action reporting and 8D methodology highly desired. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
