oregon
for a Senior Merchandise Planner that goes through the fall. Our retail client is growing rapidly and has a national presence in the retail world. This is an exciting opportunity to work with some of the best retail professionals in the northwest and also have the ability to move into a fulltime position.
We are looking for a seasoned Senior Merchandise Planner that has an expert background in Excel and extensive Planning System working knowledge.
Duties Include:
Develop merchandise plans to meet key business objectives and financial goals.
Drive financial results to maximize sales, inventory and profitability at the channel level.
Direct the development of pre-season sales, gross margin and inventory plans.
Identify risks and opportunities to the business through analyzing historical data and current trends.
In charge of open to buy process and forecasts.
Qualifications
5-7
years of experience in retail merchandise planning, buying, and allocation is a must.
4-5
years of experience as a Merchandise Planner is required.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Merchandising, or related field is required.
Project management experience is a big plus.
