Software Quality Engineer - Permanent Job Software Quality Engineer needed for a direct hire opportunity with Yoh's client located on the North West side of Denver, CO. The Big Picture - Top Skills You Should Possess:- Automation experience - Writing code in object-oriented development language; automated tests, regression scripts - Unix/Linux experience; proficiency with Shell prompt What You'll Be Doing:- Opportunity for a strong Software Quality Engineer who is passionate about automation and streamlining processes in a fast-paced team. - Design and develop a reliable, scalable and maintainable test automation framework using open source tools from the ground up. - Write code, automated tests, regression scripts, and manual testing as necessary. - Maintain the test framework and improve automation in a fast-paced software development life cycle. - Contribute to test design and test planning to expand existing automated test coverage. - Able to evaluate, recommend and select suitable test management, test automation and performance testing tools. What You Need to Bring to the Table:- Five (5) plus years of related automation/QA experience - Experience designing, maintaining, and improving automation frameworks ideally in a LAMP environment (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP). - Ability to write code: automated tests and regression scripts. - Execute and maintain manual test plans, functional and regression testing in multiple environments and operating systems - Previous programming experience in PHP, Java, .NET, Python, etc - Understanding of source control - SQL familiarity Bonus Points! - Experience transitioning a department from manual to automated testing - Open source project experience - Web-based environments - JavaScript framework experience - Comfort reading and writing XML/XSL - HTML/CSS development What's in it for you?- Great permanent opportunity to join a market leader in advertising, implementing the latest in web technologies.
