Software Design Engineer Job Software Design Engineer needed for a Contract opportunity with Yoh's client located in the Seattle, WA area. The Big Picture - Top Skills You Should Possess:- JavaScript - HTML5 - XBox - Passion for Games What You'll Be Doing:- As one of the first members of a small team, you will have the unique opportunity to contribute to the next wave of interactive and engaging companion experiences. - You will need to work with Producers, Artists, Designers and game team developers to help deliver an experience that will delight users and change the shape of gaming as we know it. What You Need to Bring to the Table:- The ideal person for this position has experience with app development across any combination of Xbox console, Windows 8 and/or Windows Phone. - The ideal candidate should have a passion for video games, elegant user interface design, and familiarity with consuming online

. - You will need to have at least five (5) years of experience with JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS, developing codebases stressing long-term maintainability. - Ability to push the limits of JS/HTML5 with an emphasis on animation systems and the presentation layer to create compelling user experiences. - Self-driven, strong communication skills and a demonstrated ability to work cross-group and cross-discipline. - Strong problem-solving and debugging skills with a proven record of building solid designs. - Experience building device apps and a familiarity with app certification processes.
