WHAT YOU'LL NEED -
-Bachelor of Science in Electrical/
electronics
Engineering,or Electro-Mechanical Engineering DEGREE (required)
-5-10 years of experience engineering MECHANICAL, ELECTRICAL, ELECTRO-MECHANICAL BASED products.
-Experience with ENGINEERING TOOLS such as Design of Experiments, failure analysis, product capability analysis, etc.
-Basic analog and digital control CIRCUIT DESIGN experience.
-PCB (Printed Circuit Board) layout and design experience (considered a plus).
-FIRMWARE DESIGN and PROGRAMMING experience (considered a plus).
-MEDIUM VOLTAGE DESIGN experience (considered a plus).
-THREE PHASE power systems engineering experience (considered a plus).
-Schematic Capture Software, PCAD/OrCAD preferred (Electrical Engineering function)
-Experience working in multi-discipline TEAM framework.
-Able to work independently without supervision.
-Self- motivated, creative thinker.
-Ability to look beyond the obvious solutions
WHAT YOU'LL DO -
Experienced in the specification, design, and validation of electrical, mechanical, or electro-mechanical products
-Participate in the definition, design, testing, and validation efforts for product realization.
-Comprehensive documentation responsibility including, but not limited to, generating detailed engineering drawings, Bill of Materials, schematics, manuals and production test plans.
-Participate in troubleshooting, Failure Analysis, Root Cause, and Corrective Action processes as required.
-Participate in FMEA, Reliability Studies, etc.
-Participate as an engineer supporting a phase gate development process.
-Work with cross-functional departments to include marketing, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, as required.
-Provide back-up support for customer orders on configure to order product lines including applications and design support.
-Provide production test plan documentation for configure to order products.
-Support our company's continuous improvement initiatives
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
