Electro Mechanical Assembler
Objective:
Perform duties to assemble electronic equipment and participate in the activities of the group
Responsibilities:
Work procedure checklists, assembly drawings, schematics, and written instructions.
Perform utility work and operate miscellaneous light machine tools and hand tools
Assemble sub assemblies or finished units; rework, touch up, wire harnesses, power packs, flashboards, consoles or perform any other mechanical/electrical assembly as required
May be cross trained in other group's functions, which may be unrelated to normal functions, but may be deemed essential.
Exercise proper care in the use of tools, equipment and materials.
Detect and report faulty equipment, defective material, improper operations and unusual conditions to supervision.
Observe all prescribed safety rules and regulations and maintain a clean and organized work area
Perform other duties as assigned or directed.
Requirements:
Some knowledge of basic
electronics
Must be able to assemble light to medium assemblies or have mechanical ability
A team player
Worked with hand tools
