We are seeking a full-time professional with large corporate payroll experience.
You will be working with an established large, growing company with an immediate need for a Payroll Specialist for its Jackson,
mississippi
operation.
Duties Include:
Completion of company payroll
Commission calculations
Completion of 1099s
Financial statement preparation
General Ledger Entry
Administration of company benefits
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in business administration or related area
2 years of experience with completion of payrolls, payroll deposits, quarterly reports, and year-end reports for an entity with a minimum of 100 employees
Knowledge of federal and state regulations regarding benefits
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
Strong written and verbal skills
Software experience with the latest version of Peoplesoft is a plus
Multi-state payroll experience is a plus
Compensation: $40-50K DOE
